Before arriving in Bangkok you should have several photo copies of the first page of your passport. Keep these separate from your passport. They will come in handy if you should loose your passport or it gets stolen. You will also use them when renting motorcycles or vehicles or hotels, or at hospital visits or anywhere someone requests to hold your passport.
NOTE: some countries (Great Britain) considers any passport not in your possession (someone not you posses it exceptions being immigration offices and police) an invalid passport requiring replacement which may have to be done in your home country. Loosing control of your passport can cause you all kinds of inconvenience, headaches, hassles and delays.
Upon arrival or once you have your Thailand visa stamps photo copy the page with your visa stamp permissions including your exit card and again keep these separate from your original passport.
From all of us at Chef LeeZ Cooking class, we wish you a safe and wondrous Thailand experience!
